Your Sculptra® treatment
Injecting Sculptra® into the deep layers of your skin stimulates its own collagen production. Over time, you will see improvements in the firmness and fullness of your skin, with results that can last for up to two years. Sculptra® typically requires three treatment sessions over a period of several months. In order to achieve the look you desire, Dr Gerhard will work with you to determine the number of treatments required.

How it works
In Sculptra®, the active ingredient is poly-L-lactic acid, also known as PLLA. For decades, dissolvable stitches have been manufactured using PLLA, a biodegradable substance. The injection of PLLA into the deeper layers of your skin stimulates your skin’s own collagen production. As we age, our skin loses volume, which can be rejuvenated with Sculptra®.
